I've changed my bids, optimized my keywords, about 50 times each. Adsense is so simple to use I don't understand why they have to make Adwords so complicated. I've even raised my bid to $20 for some really random keywords - "Brightest eyeshadow cheap" and still no views, no clicks, nothing. I signed up 3-4 days ago. Nothing.
Why don't you give us info (some keywords, ads, landing page) on one of your failed campaigns? That way it would be easier to provide constructive help.

its okay hey cant kill a guy for trying haha, bidvister ( if i spell that right) takes ppc, but they can be expensive, check them out.
Try putting some text on the page. You have no relevant text and likely have a low quality score. Choosing the right keywords is going to be key. No one searches for "Brightest eyeshadow cheap" so that is also why you aren't getting any clicks or impressions. http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/index.php
It's a storefront. I have to make it ugly for Google to send me clicks? I'm paying for the clicks shouldn't I be able to direct them anywhere? (as long as its family friendly)
The landing page of the site looks like a giant ad. Nothing personal just my opinion. You might wanna break it down to small blocks a la ebay or amazon. While I understand your frustration I am paying just send me the clicks google tries to maintain quality at their end which is to give visitors what they are looking for and be successful at that. When a visitor comes to your site the prime spots are occupied by pictures with no content that explains what the page/store is about. Play with the layout a little bit make it more informative. Only humans can interpret images bots can't so if if google does an automated review of sorts your site is bound to get a low quality score for lack of content. I hope this helps.
Most luxury boutiques storefronts look like giant ads. The charm is in the marketing. How does google maintain quality? So many of their sponsored links lead to MFA sites. I assumed they just sold to who gave them the highest bid. I'll try to include some text over the next few days.
sir pm us this keyword will give you ranking in organic seo, no need to spend money in ppc for this keywords.. we provide specific useful keywords for ppc and manage ppc camp.. if you looking forward for above pm us.
My thoughts exactly. You are wasting time and money on keywords that no one is going to search for. What is the product ? How would you search for it? Have you researched your market? Are women searching online for the cheapest eyeshadow, or the best. Many people waste money on adwords in the beginning, I know I have, but the biggest difference between successful campaigns is research. Know your market and what they need. Your campaign looks like my first one, everything that I thought made sense, but not the way people actually think and search. The best way for a beginner to learn is to check out the competition, and see what is working for them, and improve on it, or fill an untapped void.
there is more content on the site that the initial impression - but you have to go 2 or 3 clicks in to find it. Put some of the descriptions on the products on the home/landing page - that's not just good for adwords, it gives visitors more of an idea of what's on offer, so they decide to look more. Also - you have no information pages - no privacy policy, no 'about us', no terms and conditions, no guidance on postage - google adwords likes sites that look like well-rounded sites (and again, so do visitors) You haven't said how you're organizing you campaign - are you dividing your keywords into small groups, writing 2 or 3 ads that talk about those specific keywords, and send them to a landing page on that subject .i.e - don't always send people to your home page - have a group on 'eyeshadow' and send them to the eyeshadow page.
Those keywords are not all that competitive so if Google is asking you for high minimum bids (anything over $1) you definitely have landing page Quality Score problems. I that was my page I'd add some relevant text (below the fold so it doesn't distract your visitors), an "About Us" page, a "Privacy Policy" page and a contact us page as the absolute minimum.
i actually have researched my niche. There is no point in paying for popular keywords like "how to apply eyeshadow" because those browsers are not interested in buying things online. There is quite a small percentage of women that are comfortable ordering makeup online. They generally search for "cheap [item]" when they want to BUY. I have 5 separate ads for different items they may be searching for, and yes I have different landing pages (categories, specific products, etc.) Some of the landing pages ARE products which do have descriptions and text. As for Privacy Policy, About us, etc. Yes you caught me, I've been meaning to get that set up for a long time and it might be why Google hasn't shown my ads. (Maybe they don't think I'm legit?)
Your site is a mess - no copy, almost all images, no SEO or title tags, etc. That is why your QS is bad and your sales are low. Your Adwords campaign is not set up properly into multiple ad groups for each product or product range. Your keyword selection is poor, etc. Your site has usability and trust issues - no phone number on each page, no shipping cost info, etc. Either spend a month or two reading about how build a successful eccommerce site and adwords campaign or hire someone to do it for you. BTW, the person that says you don't need Adwords is wrong. It is the only way to get important keyword info that is the basis for building a successful SEO campaign.
Do you have multiple tight ad groups for each range of product, with 3 or 4 ads per ad group? Over a short period of time your ads will become much more effective. Your campaign requires 30 to 40 ad groups with several hundred keywords per ad group - not including changing ads every 30 clicks and Google Analytics (set up for goal conversions) to get measure results. There are no shortcuts when you are dealing with a competitive industries. All you provided was about 50 keywords...probably in the same ad group with a couple of ads. If you built the campaign properly, you would not be asking these questions. Don't take this personally, but it is a common mistake that happens to all Adwords newbies. It can be a steep and expensive learning curve. Discovering the right keywords and building a logically structured campaign in the right ad groups is not easy.
I know that, youre just correcting me on the wrong issues, so its pretty much spamming cuz you haven't read the thread. I already deleted those keywords and changed them.
