I read this trick on a different forum and wanted to share here on DP. A browser plugin called "Honey" can get you a domain name on Godaddy for $1.17 (depending on the deal that Godaddy is running at the time of your registration). Here's how you can do this: 1.- Go to Honey to find this extension. 2.- Watch the video on this page to get an idea on how this works and install the plugin for your browser. 3.- If you have watched the video, you know that you will see an orange button called "find savings" before you check out. Click on this to get the deal that Godaddy is running. 4. Register your domain. Note: In addition to the domain registration, this plugin also works for anything that you buy on the following sites: 1800flowers.com 6pm.com abebooks.com accorhotels.com acehardware.com ae.com aeropostale.com alssports.com amazon.com amazon.ca amazon.co.uk amyadele.com anntaylor.com armaniexchange.com ashford.com asianfoodgrocer.com asos.com athleta.com avon.com backyardocean.com ballarddesigns.com bambeco.com bananarepublic.com barnesandnoble.com baronbob.com bathandbodyworks.com bcbg.com beauty.com bestbuy.com beyondblossoms.com bloomingdales.com bluenile.com bodybuilding.com bonton.com brookstone.com butterflyphoto.com buydig.com cabelas.com cafepress.com calvinklein.com carsons.com carters.com casa.com champssports.com charlotterusse.com claires.com clinique.com coldwatercreek.com compuvest.com cookieskids.com cosabella.com costco.com crateandbarrel.com crocs.com cubavera.com cvs.com delias.com dell.com designsbystephene.com destinationmaternity.com diapers.com dickssportinggoods.com dockers.com dominos.com dormify.com drugstore.com dsw.com ecampus.com ediblearrangements.com efurnituremart.com ems.com espow.com etoys.com express.com fandango.com fao.com finejewelers.com finishline.com forever21.com fossil.com frenchconnection.com frontgate.com ftd.com funslurp.com gamestop.com gap.com garden.com giggle.com glassesusa.com gnc.com godaddy.com godiva.com gohastings.com gojane.com groupon.com guitarcenter.com gymboree.com gypsywarrior.com hayneedle.com homedepot.com hotels.com hottopic.com hp.com ice.com isabellaoliver.com jcpenney.com jcrew.com jewelry.com joann.com jomadeals.com juicycouture.com justdeals.com karmaloop.com kennethcole.com kikkerland.com kirklands.com kmart.com kohls.com konasports.com lastcall.com lego.com lenovo.com livingsocial.com llbean.com loehmanns.com loft.com logitech.com lowes.com lulus.com macconnection.com maccosmetics.com macys.com magazines.com makari.com mattel.com menswearhouse.com metrostyle.com michaels.com musiciansfriend.com naturalskinshop.com neimanmarcus.com newegg.com nike.com nordstrom.com obaz.com officedepot.com officemax.com oldnavy.com origin.com osh.com otterbox.com ouidad.com overstock.com pacsun.com panasonic.com papajohns.com paulayoung.com perfumania.com perryellis.com petsmart.com piperlime.com pizzahut.com potterybarn.com potterybarnkids.com puma.com radioshack.com reebok.com restorationhardware.com rosettastone.com saksfifthavenue.com scarves.com sears.com sears.ca searsoutlet.com sephora.com sharkstores.com shoemall.com shoes.com shopbop.com shopcasio.com shutterfly.com skullcandy.com snapfish.com soap.com sperrytopsider.com sportsauthority.com stamps.com stauer.com stevemadden.com superdry.com tanga.com target.com teleflora.com thelimited.com thenorthface.com thinkgeek.com threadless.com threadsence.com ties.com tigerdirect.com tillys.com toms.com toshibadirect.com toysrus.com travelocity.com ulta.com urbanoutfitters.com vans.com victoriassecret.com virgin-atlantic.com vitaminshoppe.com wag.com walgreens.com wayfair.com westelm.com wetseal.com wilsonsleather.com windsorstore.com wolfcamera.com woot.com zales.com zappos.com zazzle.com zulily.com I wanted to share this so that someone can benefit when doing shopping online. Does anyone know if this is truly legit or a scam or virus, etc.? There are 2 posts about this discount with Godaddy but all from 2 different new members with low post counts.
Actually, after further research it looks like it might be legit. Have many other people here used this add-on?
You are most welcome. This is the purpose of this thread and I am glad you were able to save something on your domain name.
wow that is a nice add-ons so i can buy my domain in a cheap price...but i think it is known of godaddy also..low cost more sell.something like that
Ok, but it's just a plugin that finds coupon codes for you. If you know where to find coupon codes, then this plugin will just replicate the info you found elsewhere.
Looks great! Just tried it out on godaddy and it automatically tries up to 20 promo codes to negotiate the best deal.
I think the plugin searches for available discount coupons all over the internet or maybe on dedicated database.
Holy cow this really works, just test on godaddy.com one domain came out to be $1.17 says total saving of 14 bucks! Guys try it out
