I read some posts which said to create a blog, then add the rss url in my.yahoo, that will make yahoo index new pages faster. So this is what I did
    1. got a code to create a RSS from database, in the RSS, are the urls of my new website pages,
    2. in my.yahoo, put in the rss url, and now yahoo shows first 5 rows

but 2 days passed, no yahoo activity at all, did I do it the wrong way?
The domain is a very new domain. Not included in yahoo now.

    Any advice is appreciated, thanks

You have to get folks to add it to their yahoo home page. :)

It didn't work for me as well, but using linking strategies, I got 100k pages indexed.

    :) Hi,

My site is now about 3 weeks old and I tried using that trick after launching my site for about 1 week.

This is what happened. Slurp came after 3 days. I dunno whether it came because i submit my site to yahoo or because of the rss. I have about 100 pages but only 50 -60 are indexed but they get good ranking. I now have about 30 - 40 ppl from yahoo daily. Thank god!

When i said this in one SEO forum, the mod said that it was bull .. Well. that's up to him, the most important thing is my page is indexed. Btw, just use your yahoo account to insert rss.

Google however, is still very stubborn. Have seen the spider coming but only index the front page
