well i'd like to use it too, but all i see are a bunch of classes i'm not sure how to implement. of the examples that are there on php.net, most are just specific examples of use, not a general example i'd need to see in order to learn how to use the SPL. So after the usual bit of Googling I found this: http://devzone.zend.com/article/2565 and http://www.phpriot.com/articles/oop-with-spl-php-5 I hope it helps, even though it's explained well I can't help feeling like there's a steep learning curve. Not necessarily a bad thing, just a lot of practice needed to fully utilise it.
