Who told you that your pagerank will help you get you indexed faster? Pagerank is just a number that is determined by how many backlinks you have to your pages. Nothing more!

I think page Rank Depends on Website Traffic and Back links...If you have good Back Links from PR Sites..Then you will get Page Rank.
PR is good in the sense... the high your PR will be, more sites will do link exchange with you and you will get more benefit
Page rank has nothing to do with indexing, even unranked pages get indexed. Page rank depicts the popularity and how many people visit your site.
