There is option for adding websites in competitive filter but as its name shows its basic purpose is to block ads of competitor websites.

Do you use this filter for blocking low paying ads like

    http://www.top-3-sites.com/

I am not sure that its ads pay low or not but its business model tells clearly that it must be paying in pennies to steal $ clicks.

Purpose of this thread is to know your views of adding these kind of other cheap business model website into competitive filter.

Please give your reason for yes or no.

    I don't worry about it.

The lower the bid the less often that sites ads are displayed. This means that there is already only a remote chance of that ad appearing on my site, so why go through the trouble and time to block sites that will only appear occasionally on my site.

I also only display one ad unit per page which reduces the chances of these type sites appearing on my pages.

if you had went to the site, you would have seen what he meant, on that site, people share their competitve ad filter lists, so to make a large list, of low paying ads (i.e Ads for MFA sites)

Not a bad idea if you ask me
