Use of anchors

    I am currently working on a youtube model site. My client told me that the video screen should be as big as possible. I desided to use named anchor tag to point the browser window directly to the video screen. Will this anyway affect the way search engine handle the page.

    No it wont - its usefull for users so robots dont think its bad to keep your site friendly, cheers

    The anchor tag will give a significant boost up if you add enough content to the destination page, not just the video.

    I dont think it will affect your page, as long as your main pages are anchored correctly you should be fine!
