Use forum sigs to link to inner pages?

Here's something I've been wondering about: Should I use some of my sigs to link to the inner pages of my site and not just the home page?

I know forum links aren't given much weight and are mostly good for getting indexed, so does it even make a difference if I've got good internal linking? It seems like all my pages should eventually get indexed if I just keep promoting my home page.

Thanks for straightening out a confused newb.

Linking to inner pages will help you get indexed deeper faster. Especially on Yahoo.

I've got my sig linked to my main page... I'll leave it like that for a bit to see if it has any effect on my search engine ranking. If anything I'll change it to my internal links to see if that makes a difference as well.

Looks like a couple of people have had good results, so I guess it couldn't hurt. I post in a ton of forums and I've got the sig space to spare.
