Hi.... Is it possible to use a mysql db that is on an other host... EXAMPLE: I use godaddy to upload all the files.. Then i use servage to host my mysql db?? Need answer fast! did you understand?
you have to "allow" an external host to connect to the mysql server. in your control panel, click mysql databases and find the fields where you can specify what hosts can access your mysql server. some hosts allow this, some don't. hope this has helped.
