use Coop, metrolink, linkvault or stay away now?

I have never used any of the link partner type programs. My site is currently a PR5 and I would like to get a boost.

However, with the Jagger update many have said to stay away from these programs.

What's the latest info on this? Should I join one of these programs? I'm in the top ten for 3 of my keyword phrase but would like to jump up a few slots. I thought this might help push me up the ladder.

    Thanks for any advice.

Alot has been said abt this. I would personally recommend you to be external links free. PR 5 is ood anyways & if you are confident that it wont go down then theres no harm in having a cpl of sponsors.

I would not recommend being "link free". And the a little bit of coop can go a long way.

Dunno about that other thing you mention, but I've had great results in Coop and Link Vault. I'd recommend a mix of the two.

The co-op hasn't done Article Codex any harm at all so far. Site is still very new and hasn't had its first PR update yet but it is ranked 8th out of 114,000,000 for one of my main targeted keywords..

So far I have have only used the co-op network, one batch of paid directory submissions and one set of sidewide links from one of my other sites..

Can't do linkvault. I have an archery related website and linkvault says this is a weapon so they will not let me in.

News at 11....Local Starbucks robbed...robber used olympic style bow to hold employees hostage!

I assume by a mix of the two you mean on different pages?

    thanks

My rankings too a nasty nose dive at google during jagger.

They are all back up to normal now however and I have had COOP on my site the entire time and will continue to do so until someone can prove to me that it hurts the site.

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=2006+nfl+draft

site is in my sig, and it is currently showing up either #3 or #7 for the above search, and top 10 for a few others. Dont be afraid of the COOP. I can't comment on the other programs because I have never used them.

linkmetro is not the same as coop or link vault

its a link exchange program, simliar to linksmanager ,

but it also has an article exchange feature which you can do 3 way linking
