Use apache2triad WAMP stack one of the best i believe

    use apache2traid wamp stack . It is very stable
    easy to install
    even script which will be run on LAMP stack on server gives good reselts in WAMP
    as it is easy to test and saves time : no need to do chmod 777 etc etc

    Your chmod point has nothing to do with the fact you are using apache2triad. chmod does not exist in windows so it doesnt matter which server software you use.
