I see few people talking about using adwords to promote but i am confused about adwords policy on affiliate - Adwords doesn't allow the following - * Redirect URLs: Ads that contain URLs that automatically redirect to the parent company. * Bridge Pages: Ads for web pages that act as an intermediary, whose sole purpose is to link or redirect traffic to the parent company. * Framing: Ads for web pages that replicate the look and feel of a parent site. Your site should not mirror (be similar or nearly identical in appearance to) your parent company's or any other advertiser's site. https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=47166&query=affiliate&topic=&type=f&onClick= How are you guys using adwords with cj affiliate links? Adwords doesn't allow automatically redirect, so you can just paste the link directly. Can't use adwords to create bridge pages either.
You are absolutely correct in this approach. However, how about building out your pages with actual content filled sites and sprinkle a few well placed links to CJ. and don't forget to SEM your PPC toward the content.
so I am allowed to advertise on adwords for the page on my website as long the page has content but I am not allowed to have a page on my website with just affiliate link. Make sense to me now I have already done that with all my sites. thanks for clarifying it
you can link from adwords to an affiliate merchant, it is done all the time. it is not an auto redirect, in the ad you put the landing page as the merchants landing page (which it is) and in the destination link you put your affiliate link. this is quite legal and above board. also a good way to make a dollar you just need to be careful that the merchant allows you to link directly and to display their trademard url in your ad some do and some don't you need to read their keyword policy in the links section
