If you're dollars are suffering, you're loosing money, you want your countries currency to drop just follow these steps : A) Invest in some cheap dynamite and blow up a major building in your city. B) Employ George W Bush for your countries presidential position. C) Put up a mosque, employ some terrorists and set up a major plot against countries land marks (refer to A). D) Cause some riots in your country. E) All of the above. That's the quick solution !! Cause some havoc and run amock, that should cause enough panic in your country and in turn reduce the inflating dollar.
Slowly doing that some clients will still pay in USD only though. I hope the stores drop their prices on products AND/OR hope the USD comes back up when they get a new president.... (that'll stop the war).
haha yea im in Canada and adsense pays me less now lol! oh well its a fair trade.. more traveling for me
Its a cyclic movement that the USD is going through. Don't worry the exchange rates will restore to their original levels in times to come.
Im from australia, so it suddenly made buying things on the net from the US cheaper except now my profit is lower...
I have bought a house in my country and don't stay in us dollars unless I'll buy something that is sold in us dollars.
Yeah, it's not a permanent drop, although the exchange rate between the US dollar and the British pound has been excellent for quite some time now - excellent for us in Britain that is.
Not permanent? Perhaps not. But for quite some time to come. Many nations that had reserves in dollars are now selling them off and investing in more stable and stronger coins like GBP and Euro which in turn leads to further depreciation of the USD. A looming US economy recession, the astronomical US debt, budget deficit and trade deficit. Looks like things will get worse before they get better. Gold is a solid investment, at least it's one of those investments that's inflation-insensitive.
I thought Singaporeans are the only ones hit by this plight. There was once a few years back when it was USD1 = SGD1.53 Now it is only USD1=SGD1.44 and with PayPal withdrawal charges it becomes 1.40
