USB cable of a spy gadget doesn't work

    Hi, how are you?

    I received as a present a spy gadget with a camera but I can not connect it with the computer, I tried on two, doesn't do anything, like there is nothing in that USB port, no cable.
    Somebody suggested I would need a driver... But what kind of a driver.
    Is a China product very fine but doesn't work. I checked on the instructions what type of Windows is compatible, I tried on XP but no response at all.
    Could you be so nice to advice what to do please?

    Have you tried swapping in a different USB cable? If you have tried the device on two different PC's and the device was turned on, it should have been found by the PC, whether or not a driver was present. If you use a known good cable that works with another device and the spycam still does not work, it is a problem with the device.

    Thank you very much. The cable is charging the battery of the device only not be seen by the computers. This means the device is broken or the cable is broken? Of, of, of...

    It still seems to one or the other. I would try switching the USB cable first as it is easiest to do.

    Well go to aliexpress or ebay they are very cheap or maybe an usb cable from your smart phone can be used for the spy gadget too. Hope you will fix your problem :)
