Generally we aim to have all VPS servers setup in 3hours, In some circumstances we may be waiting for new hardware to be setup or IP’s provided therefore please allow up to 2days. How many VPS’s per server? There is no fixed number for this, generally we host on 8GB Quad Core Intel’s and normally the RAM is filled first, so if we sold four 2GB VPS that server would be full, but it would take 16 512mb servers to fill the same space, On average there is about 8-12 VPS’s per server. How much is a managed VPS server? Currently we do not offer management on the VPS servers only on dedicates, although we will try our best to help out with any problems that you are having if there is spare admin time. If you really are in need of management we will offer it for $25 per month on a case by case basis. How much burst RAM is there? I am happy to say that there is none, and simply this is because our dedicated ram is so cheap we have no need to oversell and start offering people burst RAM like many other companies. Do you do windows VPS? No, sorry OpenVZ can only be used for Linux, we will be doing windows ones in about 2 months time they are still been tested. What server will I be put on? Hi, Datacentre allows no warez or P2P, but rapidshare downloads should be fine. If for any reason the datacentre complained we would give you a refund. Here is a screen shot of downloading from rapidshare.com http://i39.tinypic.com/11v3bk6.jpg Please remember ubuntu vnc is only on 512mb servers, I have installed and got it working on 256mb but you can't open any programs like firefox due to lack of RAM. Just interests to know what advantage does your vps have when compare with fsckvps? Both of you have got "Desktop Access" features but quite a difference with vps plans.
Hi, Our company does not oversell any of the server including CPU, RAM or Bandwidth. also we do not use burst RAM like alot of the compaines out there, this allows for alot faster and more stable VPS server for the end user. I am unsure of fsck's exact config therefore I can't really compare the two services. I also belive our customer support is better than that provided by fsck as I am sure our customers would agree If you have any more questions I will be happy to help Regards,
We now also have a cPanel template, so if you buy a cpanel license for you IP (or get a trial and buy) or from us we can install it on CentOS for free!!!
