Are you talking about that Obama fellow who took out Bin Laden with 1 seal team or the George Bush criminal who sent a whole country to war with another whole country, sent your country broke, made the allies look worse than the infidels they're fighting but still managed to fail miserably in any task?

Exactly right ! Don't forget "Dick" Cheney ! These jerks made a lot of money out of that f**king war ! I'm not against our military but all those who went to war will receive pensions. Another dollar goes there.

So you too expect the whole planet to gloss over Obama's war mongering and saber rattling because he happened to be president when we nabbed Bin Laden? I'm hard pressed to understand what one has to do with the other. I mean, if we want to compare the two, I suppose it would be worth pointing out that Bush got the approval of congress, where as Obama just circumvented congress.

Now had you made the case about how Obama repealed the evil patriot act Bush created, then you'd have a leg to stand on, but wait..... he didn't do that either.... he extended it and expanded it's scope. Oh well. Try again.

There's plenty Obama hasn't done, and plenty I would disagree with if they allow that shit in Australia but he gets your foreign policy done much better than the last mob did. I think ensuring every American gets healthcare is a good thing too. Only ones I see upset with him are republicans / warmongers, only some of which are actually sane and none of whom give a damn about helping their fellow Americans as a whole and many of them are traitors on the take from corporate puppetmasters.

Possibly true... If our policy included:
-- bugging out of Iraq without leaving a residual force (hint:it didnt, he blew the negotiations),
-- allowing our own agencies to arm drug cartels in Mexico with better weapons
-- seeing Iran become a nuclear power (not there yet, but his term isnt up)
-- getting into armed conflicts without consulting congress

There have been some military accomplishments during his term, but his involvement is either overstated or in some instances falsified. The guys on site when the SEALs blew away the pirates indicated that the action was taken in spite of orders from the White House that hampered the effort... Notwithstanding his quick reversal to take credit when they succeeded. I credit the military for their success. At best i credit Obama for occasinally getting out of the way.

Did that happen? Havent seen it yet, and i live here. I have seen a boatload of people lose jobs as employers learned what Obamacare was going to cost, and a job market fail to recover properly as uncertainty made hiring too dangerous.

Seems like a pretty broad brush to attach such epithets to. For starters it kinda ignores how many actions we've been in that started during non-GOP control. Not hard to look up. You might be surprised.

Aside from that, do you really think HALF the country doesnt "give a damn about helping their fellow Americans"?

Many of those already help their fellow Americans thru other avenues besides government handouts, and prefer not having the government forcibly assume a role never delegated to by the constitution. Our constitution specifically reserves powers NOT delegated to the federal government to the states. The federal government has a tendency to grab power to which it has no legal right.

There are forms of government designed to pool the assets of all and act as a central clearinghouse to distribute as needed, but ours isnt one of them.

Bushranger, ignoring the rest of your response, which doubled down with the ad hominem "Warmonger" attack on Republicans without begining to acknowledge Obama's Warmonger++ nature, I found something fascinating.

The quote above is just complete unfounded lunacy that tries to stereotype 50% of Americans as lunatics. I would normally laugh, but I was flipping through the channels the other night and stumbled on MSNBC, where an hour long full scale attack on the Mormon faith was in progress. Lawrence O'Donnel managed to scrape up a variety of scabby guests with questionable backgrounds making all kinds of allegations leading the viewer to the obvious conclusion tha anyone of the Mormon faith is a wife beating polygamist lunatic.

I've known a few Mormons in my time, and I have to say, anecdotally, that not one of them fit that description. In fact, to the contrary, every last one of them were decent, honest, principaled, and hard working.

I guess I just find it stunning that the people who claim to be champions of justice, protectors of minority rights, and enemies of discrimination of any sort, have absolutely no problem going on national television and promoting hatred against a particular religious group and/or ethnicity. It was disgusting.

The sad thing is this happens all the time. Subsidizing drug cartels with drugs and guns so that they end up back in America so they can stand on a soapbox with their political agendas spouting about how many drugs and guns come from Mexico. It makes it easier to justify a war on drugs (that doesn't work) and for dems to challenge why we civilians need guns as, once again, so many are in the hands of bad guys that get them from Mexico.

Convince me that's not just an attack on Obama. It seems a little biased there. Fair enough. One could also say going to Iraq in the first place was a much bigger mistake. The same can (and will) be said about Afghanistan.

Well you've got to admit Obama has had a tough time trying to get anything done with the very loud right-wing screaming bad, bad, bad every time he makes a move. Last I heard the jobs were rising and outlook was looking good. Some people will convince you why smoking is good for you and how health is not really deemed a priority because sickness creates jobs.

"their fellow Americans as a whole". Yes. That bring on howls of socialism, a taboo subject with MORE than 50% of Americans I believe.

That's what people are fixing, albeit slowly because of opposition. Striking a better balance that considers sustainability.

But I didn't. I specifically stated republicans 'slash' warmongers to include 'some' members of other parties. I agree it's not only the republicans, who, I would argue are the majority of warmongers anyway. Their extremist philosophies require war from what I can tell. Obama was handed a beuracracy that was already heavily geared up for war. Could we really believe he could just turn it off even if he wanted to? I think he was dealt a rough deck from the start but he's given it better direction than Bush did.

I don't believe 50% of Americans are republicans. Until you get compulsory voting we will never know. I believe 50% of all allied country populations (not confined to the US) don't give thought to who's in charge as they're too caught up living their own life and haven't got brain-power or the time enough to care about much else. I believe no more than 25% are true republicans or democrat. The rest are 'available' to either side. If only we all knew what we're aiming for then we might know who to vote for. The average bloke has no idea.

I find it stunning when people who work for the law are caught breaking it or when people with power abuse it. You can't argue with shit happens. When we get enough shit we sort it out and the battle goes on.

I wont adress all of those... But you do need to look up "socialism". I provided a textbook definition of it and you suggested it was something we were working toward. For you that may be ok... But itd be nice if more people recognized it for what it is. We are not supposed to be a socialist nation. That isnt a howl, just a fact.

We have a two party system. Every president deals with the other half. Obama had a majority in both houses for 2 of the 3 years hes been in office. He just doesnt have the experience at working across the aisle, so he's ineffective.

Unemployment figures are well above the highest mark they hit during Bushs 8 year term. The obama administration propaganda is very positive sounding, but the numbers are what they are.

Obama stated that Bush was "unpatriotic" for his deficit spending, and promised to cut the deficit in half. Instead Obama has patriotically written hot checks about twice as fast. He said just after being elected that hard decisions must be made to cure that problem, but hasnt managed to get a single budget passed in three years despite having majorities 2 of those years. He claims hes promoted oil production, but hes got drilling shut down, he nixed the xl pipeline, and invested tax dollars in Brazils drilling operation.

He stated in Feb of 2009 that he would be held accountable, and if he didnt have the economy fixed at this point "it will be a 1-term proposition". Hes probably right about the last point. The only person in America thats truly thrilled with Obamas performance is Jimmy Carter. Before this, he was considered the worst president of our era.

Lol. That looks like the beginnings of the worst straw man argument ever. I'd drop that unless you see a shot at finding quotes to support it. :)

I hardly doubt that you know anything about socialism with exception of what you have seen in Rambo movies about old Soviet union. You know the movies where the good American soldiers were tortured by bad Russian soldiers. How the time changes, it is not bad to to torture Prisoners of war any more and Americans are the biggest advocates for that.

Horrible argument, primarily considering the cause of the invasion of Afghanistan.

So quit "howling" about socialism, because "people" are making it happen despite popular opposition. The 1984 double speak nature of that quote makes it appear like something produced by the Obama white house.

More excuses. The idea that Libya, Nigeria, or the current Iranian ramp up had anything to do with Bush is absurd. It is 100% Obama. The excuse that Obama inherited such a war machine from Bush is absurd at face value, just like Obama's termination(extension) of the patriot act. Perhaps you could make that excuse for Obama's closure (extension) of gitmo, or Obama's termination(continued use) of military tribunals, but the argument you are really making is what a pathetically inept and incapable president Obama is, and on that point, I would most definitely agree.

Only partially right. I believe the average turn out for a US election is 50% of the registered voters, which is a smaller portion of the eligible population, and that is as it should be. Uninformed people make bad decisions. A better informed, higher participating voting population is nice to think about but it simply isn't reality. The truth is, given the current knowledge level of our voters, fewer voters would be a better thing.

All that aside, you can look at the last election where Obama won with 52% of the popular vote to understand that, even in a year where the Republican brand is highly unpopular from the Iraq war and more importantly a crashing economy, nearly half the population votes "War mongering" Republican, so yes, you did stereotype 50% of the US population as War mongers, even though we wound up with a "War Mongering" Democrat who you continue to make excuses for.

Now here is something I can definitely agree with you on. In three years, the list IS stunning.

Solyndra - One example of many Obama campaign contributors who received direct payments of US taxpayer dollars directly from the Obama white house. Quid Pro Quo.
Fast and Furious - Senior members of the ATF take the 5th to avoid incriminating themselves (and implicating anyone higher up the food chain, certainly up to the Justice Department, and perhaps all the way to the Whitehouse) in a government operation that sold guns to drug cartels.
Federal Suits against State Immigration Laws - Obama uses his pitbulls at the taxpayer funded Justice department to sue any state that creates immigration enforcement laws to make up for what the Obama white house refuses to do.
Refusal to enforce Voter Intimidation Laws - In a clear cut and half prosecuted case against the black panthers standing outside of polling locations with night sticks, the Obama admin orders the justice department to drop the case.
The Sale of the Obama Senate seat to campaign contributors

The list goes on and on, but nobody seriously finds it all that surprising. This is how things are done in Chicago, where the electoral process is just a sham to cover the anointing of their elected officials. Rod Blagovich was a trusted member of that inner circle, but Obama couldn't replace the US attorney prosecuting the case before the details and tapes were leaked to the public. There was no saving him. These are the people you defend.

If you think socialism has anything to do with prisoners, torture, or war... look it up. Bushranger and i were addressing economic models. Sorry if it was over your head. We'll try smaller words next time. :)

What I think is crazy is that we are fighting over bush/obama.. when we should be discussing how big business runs the US and AUS budgets..

It's time people start facing the truth.. We are the problem.. Not Bush or Obama.. We the People!

We allow the Federal Reserve to stay in power and 254 people in congress to dictate how we are going to live.. hmm.. millions of people vs 254 congress ... Who has the advantage...

I explained it in a easier way that may be even you can understand: "you have no idea what socialism is because I hardly doubt that you have even read one book in your life time. Anything that you think you know is through Hollywood movies yo have seen about old soviet"
