.us - What's the deal?

    Hey guys,

    I have found a couple domains I might want to pick up, but they are .us domain names.

    Are they still good? is it worth getting them? I see imageshack.us is doing VERY well, but I just want to find out from all you guys before I buy a couple :)

    Its not as easy to remember as a .com, but your search engine rankings wont be effected. Good luck.
