No... it's included in Hillary Clinton's travels (take a closer look.)

And since Gov. Perry is only an American when he needs federal assistance (which is more often than any other state does) I guess I can see why they would think that.

LadyTigress: writing in blue doesn't make up for incoherence. And NO your state cannot be made into 5 states and even if it was, that wouldn't benefit Republicans like you might think it would. There would be blue states among those 5 states so it would actually be easier for the Democrats to win the Presidency. Try again.

I can write in blue if I dang well want to Zibblu - are you the Color Police all of a sudden?
Nope I don't *think* so Sweety! ;) and Incoherence is Liberal talk for not becoming Brainwashed like they are.
.btw I've voted for HONEST Yellow Dog Democrats over Corrupt Republicans in my Home State so don't even
take that superiority complex tone with me Darlin ;) Good Day ;) -- and I hope the Democrats do keep
winning - then when stuff goes wrong in this country THEY won't be able to crawdad out of the dang
blame like y'all just LOVE doin ;)

Incoherence is human talk for ... incoherence.

The fact remains that Texas can NOT simply split up into 5 states, each "new" state would need congressional approval which they obviously would not get. And furthermore, like I said, the splitting up of Texas wouldn't necessarily help Republicans as much as you think. Yes it would help in the Senate but it wouldn't change the house much and it would actually help the Democrats in the Presidential election.

OK's here's the answers to your questions:

    1. I'm not an expert on Governor Perry. I don't need to be an expert on someone to have an opinion about their statements (such as those he made about Texas seceding from the union.)

    2. I was last in Texas in the summer of 2007. It was a road trip to Austin. Great city. Amazing Mexican food. I enjoyed it and hope to return.

    3. I never claimed to be the "color police." It was simply a snarky comment in response to your post which I thought was a bit reminiscent of a teenage girl in a chat room (with the blue text and the randomized capital letters and generally confused logical process...)

    ---

As far as being a "Texas hater" --- I loved Austin and a lot of the people there. I'm sure every state (even Utah) has some places where some cool people and places are at so I think it's silly to say I hate a whole state or to discriminate against a whole state.

That being said, I definitely believe the rate of idiocy in Texas is above the national average (and that is really saying something.)

It looks like the average IQ scores in North Carolina and Texas are about the same.

North Carolina average IQ score is 100.2
Texas average IQ score is 100.0

States with the highest IQ averages are Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, Minnesota, Montana, Maine, Iowa, and Connecticut.

I don't actually live in North Carolina btw. I try to stay anonymous... ;)

In what sense? NH went for Obama.

It looks to me that almost all of the top IQ states went for Obama actually... :D

Good luck with the Carter thing Bogart, it's just not sticking. Obama is just too much of a bad ass for that to work.

Well, you *were* in Austin... where idiocy is well above the state average. On the bright side, I'm sure the numbers improved when you left.

The people in Austin (except most of the college kids of course) were awesome. I'm talking about the fact that the state votes overwhelmingly for morons like George W. Bush & This idiot Perry.

No doubt. The fact Texas is one of the few states in the union with a growing economy aside, they are all idiots.
