Are some US Soldiers so perverted and sick?

First, killing too many innocent people, then raping young girls, women, and then killing their entire family to remove evidences.

You will find all the informations over here - american soldiers raping iraqis? - Google Search

Millions of results are there to go through.

What do you think about this?

Rape is common when a country is filled with any military of any nation. Romans, Greeks, Russians, Germans, British, French, every other country on earth, Aliens (just throwing that out there you supposed probe victims). It will happen in spite of all the rules and regulations because there will always be defective humans.

Yup. It's an expected consequence of war, which should get people thinking. It's not necessarily the rape that needs to be stopped, but perhaps the war altogether.

IMHO these are war crimes and the military did prosecuted those that were caught. It is not as if the generals allow their soldiers to go all over to commit rape and murder, like what happened in the Rape of Nanking for eg.

The search term was just a proof that yes it is happening. Everyone knows it is a true fact. If you don't believe then you must be one of the most ignorant person ever.

Rape is common when a country is filled with military of Americans, not any Nation. Find any incidents where Romans or Greeks, Russians, Germans, British, French and all other Countries have been attacking other nations, killing so many innocent people, raping them and killing their family for evidences. Then in return, nobody gets a death sentence.

I beg to differ with regards to your statement regarding rape and the American military. Do you have any statistics to prove that the incidents of rape cases is common with American military as compared to others?

You got to be kidding, is that how low the barrier is set online if there is a search term on google it must be true.

Because if so I just ran *Mayank* is a murder on google and received over 10,000 results, so it must be true.

The percentage of our soldiers that would ever involve themselves in such things are very small. In any group of men you will always find a certain percentage who do not have a problem treating women like an object. From what I know about the Islamic culture as a woman, I would be more afraid of the Iraqi men than I would of the American soldiers. This is an article I found about Al-Qaeda raping women. It was rather long, so if you want to read it all, scroll down to the "entire article" link at bottom.

    Just one word - disgusted

I'm simply disgusted with the US government for deploying US troops in other countries, and hence raping girls there! The latest incident occurred with Japan. I'm extremely disappointed with those ill-disciplined US soldiers.

There is an old saying those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, look at all the blood shed between the protestants and catholics in Ireland, where is your disgust for that.

This is a sad incident, but what is the % of USA troops in Japan that engaged in criminal activities as compared to the National whole for Japan?

IMHO deploying troops doesn't mean raping girls there, there are bound to be bad hats in any society or organization, USA included.

If one out of 50,000 people is a rapist, and you deploy 1,000,000 people, then there will be 20 rapists. Thats a 1:50k ratio

The more you deploy, the more chances there are of being one, however, it is all in the numbers really. What if the other army you face has a 1:1000 ratio? If they deployed 1,000,000 men it would be 1,000 rapists.

Now what about the Rape of China in World War 2? Literally thousands of rapes occurred there, yet the army was not nearly a million man army in the invasion. Therefore the ratio would be much higher. But of course, in this topic are the different sides. One side hates the U.S. and will glorify the rare occurrence of violence on women. The other side is U.S. Jingoistic and will cover their eyes and ears - but sadly not their mouths. Then there are those who look at it as a math equation to find that the U.S. really has a low ratio compared to other armies - and still support withdrawal but will defend the name of the country (me). Then there are the history revisionist who like to think we are the only bad people - they're like the first group. Then there are... to put it kindly... Futt Bucking insane people who have no clue what they're saying at all.

Yes that was a conflict i could never understand. This shows that if any group uses religion to an extreme they are cabable of many acts of brutality. When will humanity grow up and learn to respect and love one another???????????

I can never understand too. Why one human being would torture another in such brutal ways. Wonder when will real peace ever prevail.

Begs the question "Why do we suffer"? I know the answer to this question but not many want to hear it unfortunately.
