You can receive unlimited amount but you can only send $500 then you will have to verify your account. Sending money is not on monthly basis for unverified accounts.

Well, to overcome this limits, all it takes is a few minutes on your part to find your US Bank account number and entering it in Paypal. Once paypal does the verification, you will be verified.

Not everyone qualifies for a "real US bank account" so I would say it is not that easy for everyone.

    to OP:

But here are sellers who sell "bank accs" for verification purposes of US PayPal accs. Just look for alexzin (his username)for example. But if you use fake name there is always a risk in getting the account limited and you won´t be able to proof your identity.

Well, if you comply to Paypal's Terms like being over 18 years old and are residing in the US when you sign up for a US account then it is easy to get a real US Bank account. All you need to do is to pop into any US bank and get the account.

Of course the only way you cannot qualify for one is that you are either underaged or lied about where you are from which pretty much is a breach of the agreement and such breach is prohibited. You have to provide real information when you sign up and you can only sign up from the country you are currently residing and no where else.

It definitely isn´t that easy: what if you have a really bad creditscore for example? You won´t get real bank account.

What has credit score to do with getting a bank account. A Bank account is where you need to put in money and you do not need a credit history for that because you have the money. What is the risk in taking your money ? It is not like you can take more away from the bank account than what is inside it.

Of course if you say that if you are looking to apply for a credit card and have a bank credit score then I understand because you become risky to the bank since they would need to extend credit to you.

If you are a risk to your bank to even accept your money, what would you think Paypal would think of you ? I am pretty sure that you will not be accepted.

Just a short question offtopic: where are you from? The US? I am from Germany and it is not possible for everyone to open a bank account here.

I am from Singapore and as long as you are of legal age and a citizen or Permanent Resident or working here, you can open a bank account. They do not dig for any creditworthiness or check your credit ratings. They will do so only if you are applying for a loan or a credit card.

I have friends who are in the US, some of which do not have that great a credit score but they have never been denied a bank account. Like I say, with Paypal US, you need to be of legal age (18 yrs and above) and can prove identity, you can get a bank account with the required minimum deposit.

Maybe in Singapore EVERYONE qualifies for a bank account, but in the US definitely not everyone older the 18 does. I know from my own experience (friend).
