US Minimum?

Hi,

The minimum I can bid for a click in UK is £0.01. Is the minimum is the US $0.01? If so, can UK residents open USD Adwords accounts?

I think Google might have a geographic filter on it's website as all quotes I get are always in British Pounds. All those pennies will add up for low cost per click stuff.

Yes, the minimum bid is 1 cent. I don't think you need another account.

 

Well from the UK I can only seem to get to pages quoting UK prices. It would be a lot simpler if I could have bother Adsense and Adwords in the same currency, as that would make P&L calculations easier.

AFAIK if you want an Adwords account in USD you must be a US citizen or have a US-registered company.

Since the minimum bid change the lowest I've ever been able to gets ads to show for is 3p (~$0.06) so I don't see that it will make a huge difference.

 

So it's possible to have a USD Adsense but not a USD Adwords account?

I'm very new to this (only initiated my first bank transfer last night) and guess I have a lot to learn...

 

Adsense is displayed in USD but in my case paid via EFT in GBP.

I feel, that u need to open a new google adwords account with google in US$ as your currency. It is immaterial that u r in UK or US or in any other country. It is your preference as in which currency u wish to join google.

So, try new account with US$ and enjoy paying in cents.
