    Hi,

Can someone please point some resources to US laws regarding hosting?

Since the servers of a hosting comoany are in a country like the USA, I suppose the website will be under US law.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know the resource, but if the registrar or hosting are from a US company, there would likely be a way to do a "take down" or lawsuit using US law.

This is off the top of my head and from memory so don't take it as the final word.

I believe you are now required to have a privacy policy in place. I don't think the "disabiltiy provisions" apply to commercial sites. Of course the DMCA does. Adult content is subject to whatever those regs are. Child porn, under 18, is a quick bust.

I sure I missed as much as I mentioned.
