I have put up my blog link here at DP for Auction. If you choose you can Paypal the money to T0PS30 to aid in his eBay buying or give it to any reputable charity http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=27831
i have placed some of links related US Katrina Donations in some of my sites. I guess it might help in getting donations for Katrina disaster.
A little inspiration and a giggle... If you don't like offensive language - don't click the link. http://www.illwillpress.com/kat.html
I guess this one is mine.. I got confused with the labels for the box (used self-service to send) and just wrote the return address in smallish font on the side of the box so it's not mistaken for the "To" address
Yeah, taht's what I figured too. It's nice to see people still donating stuff. They set up an "Official Hurricane Releief Center" by my house. You can drop stuff off there and they send it down to the people who need it. The parking lot is always packed and people are still bringing boxes in everyday when I go home from work.
I've go 5 black bags of clothes my dad dropped round to my place... I'm not ever going to wear any of it... Wanna give me an addy to send it to? I have no idea how to get them there though...
SE.... If the cost of shipping is more than $5 I would suggest donating the clothes to a local shelter or other nonprofit, then put the money you would have spent on shipping towards a Target gift card or other program. I just came across this nonprofit donations aggregator. This is the most extensive list of charitable groups helping Katrina survivors that I've found. It's HUGE, and covers everything from housing and animal groups to personal welfare, etc. Also includes lots of links to info based sites.... Network For Good
There are still roughly 200 people in Reunion Arena here in Dallas. Right now there are some people angry with the Dallas Mayor. "Not all these people are eligible to be in apartments on their own," Miller said. "We found some sex offenders and some felons, people who have no credit at all."
I made a banner for relief effort donation a while ago. Has been using it on my own website ever since.
