This is my first time I'm selling a space on my site. My site has 100-200 visitors/day. I have to send proposal. How much should I charge and what should be the criteria?
I have a some responses. Sometimes 100-200 visitors mean a lot. Depends on niche. Anyway, how much do you think I should ask?
No standard price, ask the price that you think your space worth. If the advertiser like your site, they willing to pay for it
Hi, I think you can sell your web space to Google Adsence and many more online Ad Networks who are Genune. Thanks
It all depends on the niche of your site. If you are able to target a certain hard to reach demographic, then you maybe able to receive a high CPM/CPC. For example, if your site targets people with a very rare health condition, such as chrons disease, you maybe able to earn a CPM in the range of $10 - $25. On the other hand, if your site is very general or you do not have any info on your demographics then you will need to settle for run of network rate, which could be as low as $0.10 CPM.
Hi Opportunist, Especially since this is your first time, it’s important you really test and see how much your traffic is worth. We would recommend you don’t limit yourself to a flat CPM price and start testing on a more dynamic model with the networks you will start testing with. Starting with Rev-share will guarantee you see the real value of your traffic while actually earning something from the test campaign. Also, you should know that the more traffic you have on your site- the more money your traffic can be worth to the networks you will be working with. You should consider advertising your site to increase the traffic on your site. Good Luck!
hey, you might even want to put up your own ads, for affiliate product or instant commission products - you may well make more money with those than with Adsense. And don't forget to build your list!
