And to think, you could have had $25.00 if only you had backed up your claim.

Instead, you chose to call me names. I can live with that ;)

Actually I just read on WSJ that American soldiers found a bunch of these bombs in a warehouse in Iraq that they believed Iran was smuggling over. I'm not sure if this completely takes Iran out of the picture but we should investigate this more.

From what I have read GT is simply a government loyalist. He has bought the idea that if you question your government you are not a patriot. He does not mind the Constitution is being dismantled in front of his eyes, he does not mind that his country has become an imperialistic warmonger led by a group of crazies (he may want to study the rise and fall of other previous empires). He has forgot what once made this country great and now looks to the overinflated federal government for protection from an enemy so non-existent a ghost should scare him more. Don't hate him, just pity him for he is not alone.

"He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security"-Benjamin Franklin

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; When the government fears the people, there is liberty."- Thomas Jefferson

So you are scared of a terrorist world. The government propaganda is working well on your feeble little mind. It is a good thing because your chance is so high to be victim.

So is your chance greater to die a sudden death in:
    a) A terwarist attack in the US.
    b) A war started in the name of protecting us from the terwarist.

Think hard on that one.......Because they hate our freedoms and all, so the Government is taking them away. Maybe then they will hate us less.

Do you think the so called war in Iraq has made US safer? I feel it has bred more terrorists.
The story is not going to be different with Iran. And there is a real risk of the Shiite supporters turning against US in Iraq.

I think the best thing for US to do is to invest money in finding alternatives to Middle Eastern Oil, than waging war

I prefer "patriot." Not everyone loves their country. I do ;) Good strategy to capitalize on another's post though.

Ben Franklin is often mis-quoted by those who support the enemies of the US.

Those who support the government when it does what it aught, and question the government when they believe it is getting out of hand are true patriots. Those who blindly believe that the government should do whatever the heck it wants, or fight the government having any involvement in their lives are, in my opinion, not.

What freedoms is the govt taking away? Last I checked I still have my voice, my guns (lots of them to go hunting with), freedom of religion, etc. By the way, My chance of dying is actually greater than all that by driving in a car everyday...but that is a nice biased poll you posted there...you love it when all the answers can be spun to fit your agenda, don't you?

That also leads to the statements: "People Love George Bush" and "People Envy George Bush".
