The point is, the growth is based on the corporations, not the people. The corporations are living off the backs of the people and making unheard of profits. Welcome to the United Corporations of America.
It is a fraud that you all believe if you think this nations economy is doing good, the banking system is owned by China, they buy the bonds that finance your mortgage and they own the Treasury bonds that finance the government, if they pulled their money from America we would go bankrupt!
You'd have thought the people actual have money invested in these evil things you call the 'corporations'. When was reasonable thoughts thrown out the window?
Most our debt reside in America, but yes the external part of the debt has grown. It was retarded for us to have such an artificially low interest rate for such a long period of time, imho. People need to settle down with their investments. I sometimes think bad news on the populace keeps wild investment out...and in the market overeagerness is definitely not needed. Prudence (and diversifcation) is key in market progression. This is usually a good indicator of direction.
The average American is smart enough to judge the economy on the basis of his own wallet, not on a meaningless statistic.
