i know some 2 word domains for which .us domains are only available , other extension such as .com , .net, .org , .biz is gone so how much would the domain be worth , domain words are direct meaning its not modified words ,for ex . digitalpoint.us like that
also .us having some strict restrictions . my name is available in .us but i dont want to take the risk ( also i am not eligible )
Yeah you are supposed to be a resident (maybe you are, but others are not). .US are fairly low in the domain pecking order, the extension has not really caught on in the USA. That is why you are finding better words available. .US is not easy to sell, but there is a market for really good names. Registrations in other extensions is not a very good indicator of a domain's value, but if a word is registered in .BIZ, .CC and .WS then the .US may be worth a second look.
.us isn't as well known in the US as other ccTLDs are... The only .us sales I've seen are LLL.us, and even those have not been rising, price wise, lately due to the other hypes. It'll probably catch on later (at least the lll.us in the second half of this year), but I don't see .us booming in near future.
