Hey Guys, I have finally got my $$$'s cheque from this affiliate company(payable at an International Bank in U.S) and Now I want to ask is how long does it takes for these American cheques for clearance in Indian banks & how much is the fees charged since it is an International cheque ! I spoke with HDFC in morning & they told me it will take over 21 working days and 500RS fees, so can someone please share their experience on the same.
I have deposited one check in USD one year back of Bank of America and i got credited in my ICICI bank account after 26 days. They deduct around 250 Rs. that time. Not sure how much time currently taking for that procedure and how much they deduct. BTW you need to fillup one form for that too as far as i remember (due to foreign currency). Ask this to your bank. DON.
It normally take 21-22 days ... but if you have account in any international bank then it takes 5-7 days thanks
