US Citizen...Online Casino Website?

How would a US Citizen go about starting an online Casino?
What sort of legal processes would he/she have to go through?

 

It all depends on the state you live in and maybe the state the server is in.

 

One would start with a huge budget, then by getting himself/herself a crack team of lawyers with good experience in this area. With all of the anti-gaming laws, gaming laws (they are two different things), requirements for cashflow, restrictions on advertisement, and various state laws; this is not something one should go into lightly or easily. Start-up capital should probably be in the xx+ millions. Unless, of course, you do not care about getting into legal trouble.

I would suggest moving to a different country.

 

Also move your assets out of the USA before you start.

 

Move onto a native american reservation, you are able to host content in that area apparently, although this is information i read about a few years ago now.

 

run a site with free flash casino games and then run casino ads and pay per signup stuff.

 

I like the Native American reservation idea, lol.
I'm not Native American though, so I don't think that will work.

I have decided to just not do the casino thing, I am by no means equipped to run one lol.
