US Can’t Win Against Iran Says Top Russian General

this post made me laugh...if Iran had already beaten the US, why would the US launch a counter attack? That doesn't make any sense...

 

I think he's trying to say;

USA will attack Iran. Iran will beat the USA, then Iran will "lauch counter attack" on the USA, take you'll over & put you all under Islamic law

Right now im betting that we are definately missing mossadegh now. Maybe next time we wont be so short sighted as to allow a country to distrust us and allow leaders like iran currently has to take over its country. Because of our love for oil, we helped to through out a very good president(mossadegh) and installed our puppet shah. In a war - US with Iran, Iran will be destroyed. The US economy though will be badly, badly hurt too.
If a war with Iran starts, After Bush leaves office the US economy will go down big time IMO. As a result of the huge expenses.

 

Obviously Iran cannot win if win is defined by its conventional definition.

There won't be a war with Iran, unless they do something really really stupid. And not even Bush ist that stupid to attack Iran. Sure the US has better weapon systems and more planes,tanks and stuff, but they can't win an invasion. Plus Iran has the ability to mess up the hole region and thats where our Oil comes from.

 

Did US win against Iraq? War is no solution.

Bush was a failure where ever he went , in the petrol companies before being a president and The Worldwide top failure when he was president .

Actually, the economy should keep on chugging along...the war in IRaq and in Afghanistan have shown that the economy is not really that affected...the major affect would be on the price of oil, but other than that, its not going to stop people from buying houses, finding jobs, etc.
