Not surprising. For 10 years,Bin Laden was living right next to a Pakistani military base. Obviously there are elements within the Pakistani government that support terrorism, as well as the Taliban.

We should just cut our 3Billion dollar annual life line and let India nuke em.

I agree. If you're American you should pressurize your government to leave earlier, the troops want to go home, they have lost all hope in the government bringing them back home, every year an estimated 400 of them commit suicide to avoid fighting the Taliban, its becoming a serious epidemic.

    What PSI would you recommend?

Suicide among vets has many causes. One cause has to do with coming out of an environment where you are in charge of peoples lives and multi-million dollar equipment, to return to an environment where McDonalds isn't hiring.

There you go again, seemingly oblivious as to the genesis or origins of the problem. You are like a quack docter who just keeps on dispensing medications while ignoring the cause of the ailment.
Listen....open your ears,I have some truths for you.The U.S. didn't go into Afganistan to invade as the Russians did. They went in as a response TO BEING ATTACKED on 9/11.Doesn't any people or nation have the right to defend itself?
Osama Bin Laden was taking refuge and was being protected by the Taliban who refused to give him up.If someone is shooting at you, you shoot back right? Israel keeps getting hit by rockets daily, they shoot back....simple.......got it? Do you hear the truth?
Stop feeling sorry for the shooters and stop condeming those who shoot back.I've made things very simple for you in this post,so that you could finally understand.

I disagree with targeting civilians like Ben Laden, however I do understand why he did 9/11, it was a response to many of the wrong things the US has been doing in the middle east prior to 9/11, including but not limited to financing and arming Israel the illegal state. The consequences of aiding the illegal state of Israel have been well known, people just choose to ignore them, Israel was an ill-founded state and is increasingly becoming a burdensome country and has to be dropped unless you want to fight wars forever.

Get with the program, you and the Palestinians are like immature teenagers.Israel isn't going anywhere just like your arguments. What the Palestinians ought to do is to negotiate and cut the best deal they can.
Trying to fight the regional superpower is childish.
The U.S. military has caused irreparable harm to Al-Queda in Afganistan and have gained valuble intel, there is still work to be done yet.As to suicides people commit it in civilian life all the time daily. It just gets highlighted when that person wears a uniform.Experts claim that many of these military suicides were from soilders who were depressed "BEFORE" they entered service.

You mean the regional superpower that got their ass kicked out of Lebanon by a small terrorist organization? More like regional super cowards.

Al Queda is pretty much finished. It down to two people who remain alive in leadership positions, and it looks like they are scurrying like cockroaches for N. Africa. There will always be people who threaten and plot terrorist attacks as "punishment" for permitting the Jews to live. There will also always be drones in the skies above those people, aiding them in their desire to die for allah. No sweat.

At some point, you'd think the idiot gene would go completely extinct, but it never seems to happen. With or without Israel, there will always be a war or police action going on somewhere in the world. It is as unavoidable as the necessity of police and prisons.

[Edit]You think Mikael is nervous to look out his window? It puts a smile on my face thinking about it.

It is going to happen. As surely as the sun rises. If it isn't some nutjob Islamist, it will be some nutjob left wing or right wing radical trying to send a message to the government.

Lunatics and violent radicals existed long before Islamists made a mark on US soil, and they will continue to exist long after the last Islamist is burning in hell. You probably haven't been paying attention, but we've been doing a hell of a job in dealing with the problem.

Its just like taking out the garbage. Not a pleasant job, but a necessary one. Doesn't pay bad either!

Let me put it in perspective for you. 93 people die in the US by automobile accident every day. Thats over 32,000 people a year. Over 12,000 people die in the US every year from gun related violence. If you take the deaths from all successfully completed acts of terrorism, and add the US casualties from more than a decade of war in the middle east, it wouldn't add up to more than 1/3 of the people who died from automobile accidents in the US last year alone.

At best you are a minor annoyance. Truth be told, you and your cause are pretty much irrelevant. To carry on with your hate, you are forced to live in poverty in the worst shitholes on the planet, with death flying above you, picking off your brothers in arms on a daily basis. I laughed my ass off looking at the squalor Osama Bin Laden had been living in for more than a decade. He lived like a worm. We have people living on welfare in this country that live better than that.

Pakistan has probably lost more in the war on terror than what the US gives in "aid", its not really aid, its more like bribe money, it comes with strings attached. Next President could be Imran Khan, he is going to stop the aid before you do it, then you'll be screwed coz you won't have Pakistan doing your shit anymore.

And pathetic India will simply get nuked back.

Aid will always come with strings attached, no country will pump billions of $$ into your country just because they think that the Taliban are cute.

President or Prime Minister? And how can you be so sure? Elections haven't even been announced in your country. Besides, strange things have happened to potential PM candidates in the past in Pakistan.

Yeah, like you push the reply button here and Imran sends one across the border

Then its not aid. Its the price paid for the vital services Pakistan provides. Aid should be given without wanting anything in return, like the aid given to India when it just went through an earthquake.

Prime minister. I cant predict the future, but I think there's a high chance unless he gets assassinated.

Maybe they should send one to the village you are posting from.

    Not my country.

Bold part is where you are wrong. Taliban didn't refused to give up OBL, they asked for evidence before handing him over. It was USA who refused to provide the evidence. Google and you'll find many reputable news sites for references. All USA have to do was provide the evidence and get the OBL. This would have saved a lot of lives Afghans and Americans including women and children. But warmongers refused to do so.

Please do pursue your govt for stopping aid to Pakistan. Write a letter to your congressman for starters and ask your friends to do so too.
