US Bank Check Help

    Hello folks,

    My question is,

    I have a client in Spain who want to send me a US bank check from Spain.
    Actually i live in germany, which means i have to cash the check in to my German bank account once i receive it,

    1) I want to know if German banks will accept a USA bank check?.
    2) or If at all, USA bank check are accepted in Europe?.

    (Lastly: The check is a "Certified" Company Bank check)

    Can't you just call your bank and ask them?? :confused:

    Some conversion charges may be applicable...
    They will accept it...

    Um I dont think you can use bank checks, try travelling checks, that is possible.

    You have to ask or call the bank to see if they can clear US check. However it is very troublesome. If it is a small amount you should use wire or Western Union.
