US advertisers as opposed to UK

    Hi

Perhaps someone can help with this question - I have a number of websites with adsense integrated. Most of my content relates to UK audiences as thats where I live and Im happy to target the UK market.

However i recently created a website specifically as i wished to target US visitors. It is a .biz extension , chosen instead of a .co.uk. The content is car insurance related and with an emphasis on US phrases such as 'autos' 'states' etc.

I have noticed all my adsense ads are from UK car insurance advertisers, which i suspect will probably not work well if my site is going to hopefully be found by mainly US visitors.
I can't understand why it is showing only UK advertisers, is it where my server is located or what? So my question is - is there a way to specifically show only US advertisers? I can't think of what I should do to achieve this. Any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks

You are seeing UK ads cos you are in UK. Google Ads are geographically targetted as well. You can use the AdSense preview tool to see what Ads people from US see on your page.
