I am located in the US and pay my Adwords fees in USD. I can advertise in Europe and still pay in dollars. How does Adwords looks like for advertisers over there? Do they pay directly in Euro? What am I competing against? Euro or Dollar? Strong currency or weak currency? Does it matter? Thanks. Chris
I guess it must be in Euros. I am using Adwords in India. All my campaigns are based on INR and not USD.
If you are going to advertise in Europe, it is a must that your currency should also be in Euro... Kindly check the Adwords Policy for Target Users : http://services.google.com/awp/en_us/breeze/2976619/index.html
Currency only matters on payment method. If you are in US and paying in, let's say in Euros, you will not be able to set up a direct debit. The currency that you pay for your clicks, doesn't affect your perfomance.
True. However, keep in mind there will be currency flux and that will ultimiately modify your costs, or rather, how much you are paying for clicks.
Right now the USD is weak against the Euro and could get weaker, so with everything remaining the same, you would be getting paid less each month because you have to convert the euros you earn to usd.
No, I would actually earn more due to the currency conversion. I earn money in Euros and get it back in USD when I transfer it. That's why this is so attractive. Chris
