US$80 Contest for a 27 x 41 inch Poster

We are looking for a poster design, a montage. Must be 300 dpi as we will need to print to 27x41 inches in size and also use the image for flyers etc. Image to be in a psd file.

The poster theme is for a waterfront restaurant running a theme for Sunday seafood lunches with a blues/jazz band playing.

The words - Sunday - Blues - Seafood - must be on the poster anywhere you like. They need not be together.

We were thinking maybe a musical instrument, some seafood (no lobsters) we serve crab, oysters, fish, salmon etc in a montage, but don't let that thinking constrain you..

That is the sort of thing we are after, please use your own colours and your own design - do not copy the above. The design must be original. Again, don't let the above design constrain you in any way, let your imagination run wild!

Any questions please ask. We are on Australian time here but I will give feedback at least twice per day. US$80 will be paid by paypal to the winner.

thanks for the entry, I would have to say that the word Seafood is a little lost, colours too similar and the seafood a little childish. We are looking for something more classy.

Hi! I was just wondering, why don't you want the file in vector quality so that you can have the best possible print resolution?

 

ill give it a try sometime =)

 

I am not an expert here so do not really know what that means. if you think it best then sure vector quality as long as we can download it and print with the software that we have. ie photoshop.

tomorrow is fine, we are not in a rush, would rather wait for some good work and am happy to do so.

mlente, nice entry, different to what we were expecting but still nice. comments, nothing to typify our waterfront location, but maybe that does'nt matter as it is rather self evident. ie these posters will be placed outside the restaurant on Aframes.

some more entries would be good to see and more feedback on current will be provided in appx 12 hours time. nighttime here now.
