I've tried to incorporate a sandstone effect into this update as requested. The earthy colours give the logo a more aboriginal look but almost start to take away from the simplicity of it.
So right now we are considering two designs as possibly ones we can build on. One from JRayers and one by PM from KRS25. We invite other entries but please only as per previous requests for considered entries. There will be no outcome for at least two days so still plenty of time to enter. Thanks so far to all entrants.
heres mine... 1.) short explaination for first.. i build an island overlook into a sea as what i usualy see it on google when i tried to search about the berowra marina waters.. its quite represents the nature, with the aboriginal look of a tree.. hope you like it.. 2.) quite like the colors of most aboriginal look, about the logo.. it represents nature.. with some water smoke above the islands.. hope you like this too
inspirations the rich colors of Berowa, Aboriginal art, and tessellation, plus elegance comfort and leisure....background colors and lettering color optional, I envisioned a logo that would look nice and become a remarkable vision to clients, I visualized the logo huge from billboard, to a postage stamp 'thanx' for the opportunity
Here are my samples: Image 1 Image 2 With the first sample, i have tried a purely nature driven theme. So the first one is a nature-modernistic logo that i have created. My main colors are blue and green signifying water and greenery. My second is a more aborginal-painting-ish logo where i have tried to incorporate the idea of landscape and water in it. Feedback appreciated!!
In this latest addition i have managed to re-create an aboriginal stag[it was a photo...] into a logo. Hope you are happy...
An update on this competition. We have not really seen any designs yet that "grabs" us. One in particular came close but as this is fairly important for us we wanted one that was definitely it and we did not want to settle for something that just came "close". It is so hard to spec something when we are not sure of exactly what we want so we are having a rethink and may come back to the design that came close and see if we can work on that. So for the moment this comp is over with no winner unfortunately. My thanks to all those who spent some time and put in an entry. We may be back on this one.
Why dont you give feedback and suggestions so that we can improve on what you want. This is how all contests go......
I have been giving feedback. One reason that yours did not receive any was given in post 30, the other reason is that there is no aboriginal stag. We offered $210 for this contest, we at least expect that you need to read the brief and little better and as I said more than once......ask questions you did neither. Chris, again, thanks for your entry, post #25 was one that came close.
