@jokomamamita - I do like the change and I like the fact the graphics used are not breaching copyrights, and the logo is great! - very valid entry thanks, i'll be doing final judgement within a few hours.
Your 'logo' is leading for sure (love your use of the arcade machine).

@sizzling-space - Your banner looks great / crisp and clean and I think is leading so far.

Done, well, I can change ANYTHING.

As you can see, I can completely remove the blue as well, and the colors can all be changed, sonic and mario and go on the right side, the stars can be removed, I have a LOT of ideas. I hoped you like these.

@BoGFx - looks nice yes, but too many entries have used Sonic & Mario. It wouldn't be fair to accept those instead of the earlier entries, but thank you for your effort.

@ALL - please avoid use of these two characters. Think 'original' !

Possibly, try removing the blue too, leaving the white & the stars.

And also is it the background or the whole banner/logo that is too dark?

 

@BrettBo - Your current entry is being considered, along with the rest of the entries. As it is, to me it looks too dark on the site, presuming it's the black background - you could maybe consider putting a sky background or similar? It needs to be lighter to me but it's your call.
