Uruguay versus Germany

everyone is talking about the world cup finals, but please spare a thought about the 3rd place play off between Germany and Uruguay on the 10th of July.

who's going to win that game?

My vote goes to germany , I will cheer for them

 

I think Germany would try to salvage some pride to seal the third place.

 

Don't write Uruguay off. remember, Suarez will play for Uruguay, as he is coming off from a match ban.

 

This is a chance for germany fans to be little happy after the semi-final defeat against spain.

 

there is no quetion germany will win unless swarez or forlan do someting extraordinary.but what has the octopus predicted

 

I am supporting Germany for this match. I hope they can at least get a 3rd position in this WC2010.

 

They will surely get the 3rd place and will be able to do so.... very easily. After all... Octopus 'Paul' has this time chosen to favor them!

It was closed game and Uruguay was so unlucky when Forlan's free kick hit bar otherwise we would have extra time and may be penalties too. German's played well and 2 headed Goals enough to take 3rd spot.

It was really a very close match and Germany were able to seal it only in the closing stages. I would rate Uruguay a bit unlucky to have not been able to equalize in the last minute with the Forlan's free kick... otherwise we would got to witness a very grueling extra time play as well!

though, Germany played better than Uruguay in the second half, yet, I supported Uruguay to win, purely because of their fighting spirit.
