Urls submitted from sitemap in GG webmaster tools

    Today I have updated my sitemap.xml and resubmitted it in Google Webmaster Tools.But in Google Webmaster Tools it shows only 1888 urls are submitted,actually there are more than ten thousand urls in my sitemap.xml
    What's wrong? Where are the other urls?

    Have you tried using different sitemap generators? sometimes the problem is mixing of non-www and www in URLs

    Google's not going to get every page indexed either.

    Just curious and to throw this out since it;s related. Is there a way to compare a sitemap and Google and see what urls aren't being indexed?

    It' really curious.I have resubmitted several times and the same thing happened.But before last Friday,everything went well.In google webmaster tools,it showed more than ten thousand urls had been submitted.
    Who knows the reason?
