I know im not the smartest, but can someone tell me why there is not a way for article submitter's to embed a url in the article?i have looked in the admin fo an option but cant find one..seems pointless for article submitters to submit article without a link to the site
Most article directories allow an author's box where you can link to your site. Unfortunately, like most good things, most article directories don't accept embedded links within the articles because too many people put pornographic, spammy or otherwise undesirable links in them.
We will be rolling out some new features in phpLD itself, but first we have been updating our new Article Script. In this one you have a way to have "trusted" authors. Then they can post links. We also plan to give the admin limits that can be set for number of links allowed per article, where for example non-trusted users could not post links or images, while trusted users can post but with say 2 per article. More to come on this. An example site using this now is www.enhancedreason.com
I also use the PHPLD Article script at www.articlehound.co.uk it has some excellent features and we will soon be releasing themes for it.
Not all the article submitting directories allow links to be embedded in the body of the article. There is an alternate for this they do allow the authors to include their links in a resource box at the end of the article. Only some articles allow for this and they are very very difficult to find.
