Hello all, I currently run a site that has just over 1000+ pages indexed in Google. I am making some database and design changes to make the site a bit easier to navigate. We have 3 types of posts on the site. previews, reviews and news. Right now they are all stored in the same db and the URLs are as such www.example.com/post/123/ where 123 is the ID of the post. As you can see all of our posts are kinda lumped together and don't have a file extension. I am now going to be separating the different type of posts into their own databases. Now what I really need is suggestions on URLs. The way I had it previously definitely got the job done but it just feels unnatural to me to not have a file extension. I think it'd feel more natural if I wrote the urls as: www.example.com/news/123.html www.example.com/reviews/123.html www.example.com/previews/123.html Do you guys think I should stick the .html to the end of the URL and drop the current look?
