Ive done this for dozens of people and have never had a problem, boosted my pagerank fast on all my sites plus built many many links. There is no issue with software submissions, as long as you do not submit to the same place more than once a month.
I have heard many opinions and myths about this, But I have been using it for quite a while for myself, and dozens of others without ever having an issue. None of my sites are banned from any SE. I have never received any emails from SE's regarding submissions. I have never received a complaint from a buyer that said they encountered either of the above. over 50 customers here at dp and not one issue . Hundreds of URL's submitted and not one issue . Simple explanation, dont abuse the software , follow the submission rules and you will have no problem.
