URL structure with id associate with page name...Good or bad?solution with PHP

    Hi Friends,

    Due to some security issues I need to change my following URL structure to the 2nd structure

    1)http://www.website.com/product-name.html
    2)http://www.website.com/product-name-p123.html

    As you can see, in the second URL structure, sequential alphanumerical id is associate following the regular page name.

    Now I need advice with respect to the standard SEO friendly URL structure.

    Does the Second URL structure remains equally effective as the first one or not.

    Also I invite advice on, is there any way by which we can access this sequential pages from database without that alphanumeric id?
