Url structure for download site

Dear All,

Can you please advise me on how to build the linkstructure for a download site? For this site there are categories and within them downloads. I also thought of stuffing the url with some extra keywords.

The structure for a categorie I have in mind is:

www.downloadsite.com/software/categorie/keyword1/keyword2

The structure for a download I have in mind is:

www.downloadsite.com/software/categorie/namedownload/keyword1/keyword2

#1 would be best imo

 

#1. don't go too deep with the levels.
make sure you spell category correctly on your site.

 

i think the shortest url is the best . /keyword1/keyword2 option is the best in your opinion but if i were you, i use sitename.com/keyword-itemID

Thank you for your advice.
Listening to your advice I maybe stuffed too much keywords in the url.
Because the domain already consists a keyword.
The main categorie software is a keyword.
Then there is the category which is a keyword.
The download itself is a keyword.
And on top of that I stuff the link with two extra keywords...

Is it too much? Acceptable?
