URL shortener with an edit option

    I didn't think this will be hard to find but i guess i was wrong...
    I need a free service that will shorten a url such as tiny.cc and bit.ly etc.
    I need the ability to edit the link if i want - as in redirecting it to somewhere else.
    tiny.cc does that but i'm having trouble adding the long links there.

    I know that i can create my own shortener service but I'm not interested in doing that.

    Does anyone know of such a service?

    Technically tiny.cc is suppose to work but some urls, what ever i do - it just won't work. Not sure the reason...
    Frustrating...

    but bit.ly doesn't have an edit option.
    I use them too but they can't help me with this one...

    I guess you should start your own little service of url shortener. If any public service allow that, I guess it would be harder to control spammers using the service.
