URL Remove - Wordpress ?

    Hi, in my website i change 1 page e.g. ".com/contact-us"
    & i have change the Url to ".com/contact"

    Now Both the links are indexed in google & i want to remove the 1st url - My website in on Wordpress Please tell me easy way to remove broken links or Some Plugin !!

    In webmaster tool you have url remove tool where u just put the the url which u want to delete .it will 1 or 2 day the url is removed from google

    I wouldn't do that if it's already been established in Google. The best thing to do would be to change your .htaccess file to make a 301 redirect to the new URL. I can do this for you. Please contact me.

    ^ i agree with the above... doing a 301 redirect will solve your issues... google knows what to do next once they detect your 301... you wont lose SEO points aswell... leaving it at 404 will make you lose SEO points by being branded as a broken site...

    do it fast in any way you are comfortable with.. .htaccess will serve you right...
