    what's the difference between using: san-diego-aperture or san-diego/aperture

    is there an advantage of using either?

    san-diego-aperture can be a a single page where with san-diego/aperture, aperture is the page on san-diego folder. how you will use it depends on your site objective and navigation.

    "san-diego-aperture" This one is url name for root directory

    and
    "san-diego/aperture" in this "san-diego" is the directory on root and "aperture" is the url in "san-diego" directory.

    According to Google both url's will rank for the keyword "san diego aperture".. so u can use either of them..
