URL Path Question

    My current URL's are structured..

Root.com/Word/Category and these pages rank fairly decent, but when each person clicks on one of the many links on the category page I have it goto.
Root.com/Word/Word2/Name and these pages don't rank too well. Would change the structure to Root.com/Word/Category/Name help improve the ranking of these pages?

If you want a specific example feel free to post here or PM and I'll send it to you via PM.

    I appreciate the help!

seems that you have to promote more other pages... have you optimized your other pages?

The other pages are indeed optimized. I just don't get them to rank well for some reason and I can't figure out why. Could it be because of any errors on the pages?

    site.com/section
site.com/category (category is a subcategory under section)
    site.com/name (your article)

those may be a better urls for you. you can add numbers to end of them to prevent dublicate

So you saying lose the whole multiple directories? Instead of doing

    root.com/word/category/name just do

    root.com/word
    root.com/category
    root.com/name

I have many different categories so I can't really do root.com/name.
