Last year, whenever I blog, my URL will be included in the index in just a few days. But now, I got 15 urls that were not indexed. ( they were 1 month old ) What might causes this? Thank you.
im having the same problem with all my site's, its really starting to worry me as i dont know why google is not indexing my pages that it lands on, i was thinking that maybe i made changes to my mod rewrite that has made this problem.
Something's wrong with Google lately. My new sites used to get indexed in few hours in the past. Now, it takes 7-12 days. With all the submitting, backlinking etc.
They're a very busy company now. There are more and more websites wanting indexing by Google these days, so naturally it is going to take longer.
Thanks for all your replies. I don't think the problem is with the speed of indexing. Because I can see the PageRank slightly dropped. In Google Webmaster Tools, Last Month, I can the PageRank : Low is almost touching the end. Not yet assigned is only some pixels long. But now, I can the PageRank : Low need more to touch the end. Not yet assigned is longer now.
Nope, never. Thanks for all the replies. What I found now was, all the url are indexed by Google. But in the sitemap section, it shows 45 urls 30 indexed But actually i can find all the remaining 15 urls using google search. I think maybe there is some problem with google. Thanks for all the replies!!
Without knowing specifics it is hard to diagnose. However, I would speculate that most of the times I hear on this forum that certain pages are not indexed it is because of duplicate content. Despite all the talk about the ramifications of dup content, it still seems to be a common for site content. It can take awhile for Google to catch on which explains why a site or page ranks highly temporarily then drops away. It isn't a penalty per se, Google just doesn't see the value of displaying the same content from more than one site.
How do you determine if you have been banned? How do you determine what penalty you have and what it is for?
