I made a new adwords ad for an afil program, I don't want to send people to a landing page as I know I'll lose a ton of traffic from people that don't click through. I want to send people straight to the main site via my afil link, problem is the afil link is not the standard link that G likes, rather it is something like
    http://xyz.site.go.program.com

When I clicked to save the add G says it would not work but that I could ask for an exception so I did.

My question is , will G allow me to use this URL? Thanks.

    True!

It should work  - the only kind of affiliate link that don't work are javascript links like CJ LMI links fore example:

    <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.dpbolvw.net/placeholder-123456?target=_top&mouseover=N"></script>

    Code (markup):
What affiliate are you using? Paste here the entire code provided by the affiliate.

Google said "inaccurate display url" so I'm changing that to see if it will go through.

    Hi micromag
do a google search for sit stay fetch
Check out the very first sponsored result at the very top.
The display url is www.sitstayfetch.net but the ad goes to an actual url that is totally different - kingdomofpets.com ,
If google says "Your Display URL must accurately reflect the URL of your website; it must be a viable web address that is part of your ad's destination domain and include the domain extension, " then why is this ad allowed to be different? I'm just having a bit of trouble understanding all the contradictions in google's terms.
